Peer Support Programs
Family Peer Support
-
For families parenting child/children (ages 3 + 18) with emotional, behavioral, or mental health challenges.
-
Families are assigned an advocate who will work with the parents to develop strategies to meet their goals that family has determined is needed.

Also serving families in the Region 2 service area, including these counties:

Arthur, Chase, Dawson, Dundy, Grant, Hayes, Hitchcock, Hooker, Frontier, Gosper, Keith, Lincoln, Logan, McPherson, Perkins, Red Willow and Thomas.
Transitional Youth Advocate Program
This is a program for young adults (age 16-26) with severe emotional, mental health, behavioral health diagnosis, or substance abuse. Peer advocacy is provided assisting the young person in futures planning, strength discovery, and goal setting.
Family Navigators
For families who have called the Nebraska Helpline and made a referral for a Family Navigator.
They will be contacted within 24 hours by their advocate to assist the family in obtaining resources, assessing their strengths, needs and goals.
Also serving families in the Region 2 service area.
Family Peer Support Crisis Response
A 3 month program for parents utilizing the Crisis Response system with their child age 0-21 who is experiencing a crisis due to behavioral or mental health challenges.
Child & Family Services
For families who have had a child placed out of home by Child and Family services with a permanency plan of reunification.
The referral may come from the Parent or their worker.
The advocate will support the parent at team meetings, court, and one-on-one to establish strategies to meet their goal of reunification with their child.
Parent Peer Support Program
A program for parents who are experiencing emotional, behavioral or mental health challenges or have a child who struggles with behavioral health challenges.
